An Unmanned Helicopter Energy Consumption Analysis

چکیده

The number of operations incorporating E-VTOL aircrafts is increasing each year, and the optimization energy consumption such vehicles a major problem. In this paper, small-scale ARCHER helicopter’s analyzed, wherein different flight conditions, main rotor revolutions, control system settings are considered. helicopter dynamic model was developed in FLIGHTLAB environment then validated based on test data. used for calculation using electric characteristics rotor, motor, transmission system. part work concerns analysis during vehicle’s via use an automatic (AFCS) that ensures repeatable conditions. AFCS designed it includes both path attitude to provide hover cruise modes. analyzed phases flight, when executing maneuvers, angular velocities perform - given task. results show level significantly depends speed, maneuvers performed. proposed methodology can be prospective energy-efficient mission planning UAV design.
